Mythra is een Britse band uit de New Wave of British Heavy Metal. The Death & Destiny E.P. verscheen in 1979 op het regionale label Guardian Records ’n’ Tapes. De ep bevat korte, strak gespeelde songs met snelle riffs, tweegitaarsleads en een rauwe, directe productie die kenmerkend is voor vroege NWOBHM-opnamen. Met deze eerste officiële release verwierf de band bekendheid in het Britse undergroundcircuit.
