Toon favorietenFor their 6th studio album, the band retreated to their own analogue ‘Electrosaurus Southern Sound Studio’ in the summer of 2017. An idyllic spot located in a wharf cellar along the Oudegracht in Utrecht, filled with recording equipment and decorated with antique lamps, Persian carpets and stuffed animals. It is there that ‘THRUST’ was recorded and produced entirely by the band themselves. Being a band for ten years and wanting to produce your biggest album yet makes ‘THRUST’ an exact representation of the DeWolff live experience combined with studio experiments. It represents the rock ‘n’ roll sound of 2018; with anger, frustration, emotion and sometimes disillusionment about the current state of the world. And all of that captured in an epic and extremely groovy way.
